Congratulations to Raymond and Jodie Reed who were married last weekend (25th October).  Mission Beach turned on the weather for a fantastic day and night.  Macca and new local Maso provided outstanding support in the slips while Falv chipped in with a very polished performance as MC.  Claver and Corrina Kenny also made the trip north as did Johny Powers - thankfully - otherwise the beer might not have flowed as well as it did.

Ossie,

good to hear the Old Boy network is working its magic. Very funny.
The school have just published a new colour magazine called "Nth Degree" which is delivered to families, old boys and the nudgee community. If you go to the Nudgee website I'm pretty sure there is a pdf copy to look at.
They have included the detail that appears on the front page of this site summarising our reunion. Hopefully that is a lesson to you all to show up for the second night of the next reunion.

well done Murph. That football will be worth millions in a couple of years time.

A warm welcome back to Forbesy who recently checked in. There are many of the boys still missing in action so please remain vigilant in tracking them down.

As we rebuild the class roll I reckon we'll need a couple of beers middle of next year to catch up with the second wave of old boys.

On a recent playful Sat night out, I entered a raffle for rugby ball, signed by the 2008 Nudgee undefeated premiers 1st XV team (notably with 4 Aussie School Reps in the team).  I found out the following week that I won it. Might put up for raffle at our 40 year reunion.

Ten of our classmates travelled to Inglewood on the 31st.  I believe Mark and Kellie appreciated our attendence.  The locals were treated to a late night dance display from Falv.  This display is more than a very camp, short guy busting a few moves.  To see Mark and Kellie's load lifted, but only for a few short hours was great.  It's a strong testiment to Falv's athleticism to still be performing such a crisp routine.  Keep on dancin mate............

Great to meet up with you all again, Had a great weekend and realised that two nights on the piss shows my age.

Well at least I can claim my 5 year old can't catch a ball, as Steve Wakerley missed the conversion kick and bumped in right on her head.  Chantal said "that hurt" (great rugby girl).

Had a great weekend.

Ossie - where you are wrong is that Br Skelly was not the main censor. I remember giving a completed 24 page Scope Newsletter to Br Darcy Murphy and having all but 3 articles rejected. With the benefit of age I can probably see how articles such as "Spot's Footy (I mean Rugby) Tips", "Spot's Fashion Corner" and several fake ads promoting Spot's miracle hair cream may have been offensive.

Phantom, great words of encouragement. That should bring the boys out from the cover of their blazers.
Anyway, I ran into Mark Gallen last night (we were both trawling the shelves of Woolworths) and it got me thinking, both Mark and Rame Ibrahim were the centre of our social universe for the last few months of 88, so for those that don't have a partner but would like one for the Sat night of our reunion, Mark may still have some contacts at All Hallows. Also it won't be a party without Rame's touch so the challenge for the next few weeks is for the boys to track down Rame. We'll call it "desperately seeking Rame" and the old boy who locates the big guy will be our Old Boy of the month for March.

Well done on the site Luke. Looking forward to hearing many stories from now and the reunion.

Nudgee will be playing TSS for those interested. After a few beers at the staff club Cowboy will pick us up in his Red & White chariot. Dare say he'll be as dirty on the world as ever.
